One year-old female Doberman Pinscher was presented with a chronic non-healing wound on her tail stump. The Stump Granuloma wound showed skin ulceration and symptoms of severe rancid smell. In addition, the Doberman Pinscher displayed signs of frequent licking, biting and pain at the tail end. This was a result of infection and neuroma formation.

Most clinical symptoms resolved within 2 weeks.

The wound healed completely after 8 weeks following treatment with VetGold cream.
